Motor neurone disease (MND) is a fatal, rapidly progressing neurological disease.

Today—just like every day—six people in the UK will be told they have MND.

And today—just like every day—six families will lose someone they love.

There is still no cure.

That’s why in 2026, in honour of the 6 people diagnosed and the 6 people lost every single day, we are launching 6 major fundraising events to support the MND Association.

Every event matters.

Every action matters.

And every penny you donate truly makes a difference.

All funds raised will stay local, supporting the vital work of the Hambleton & Richmondshire Group, helping people in our communities facing MND right now.
