Story

A team of year 5 and 6 boys from Claires Court Junior Boys will be taking part in the 2020 Swimarathon on January 11th 2020. Josh NB, Toby C, Sam R, Spike S, George N, Jack T, Ollie R, Aaron H will be swimming to raise funds in support of Maidenhead Lions as well as raising funds to support two family causes close to the heart of our school community;

Annikas Challenge- We are raising money to provide funding for research and treatment into Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma with CNS involvement. Annika is just 3 years old and the younger sister of Axel in Year 2. Annika has been fighting this rare form of cancer since March 2019 and we are aiming to raise money to ensure that more research can take place into this rare cancer and if needed also provide funds should Annika need any further treatment abroad.

Rachel Gibbs fund- supporting both Holycross Hospital Surrey and The Art Fund. Rachel Gibbs, mum to Jake in year 5 and his older brother Dylan was catastrophically injured whilst on a family vacation in August 2015. The scale of the injury has left Rachel in a Permanent Vegetative State and Rachel is now being cared for 24/7 at Holycross Hospital. These two charities supported by Rachel’s fund reflect both Rachel’s current care and also recognise her great passion for the Arts.

Please donate what you can to help us to support these worthy causes. Thank you in advance of your support.
