We fund life saving medical research to beat the world's biggest killers.

Story

To mark the 60th birthday of the British Heart Foundation (BHF), a team from Chester Road Club (CRC) will be attempting to ride 60,000 miles during 2021 - that's the entire length of your circulatory system!

Our goal is to raise £2,500 to help BHF in their vision for a world free of heart and circulatory diseases. BHF raise money to research cures and treatments, as well as working with patients and the public for better health and care.

Heart and circulatory diseases still kill 1 in 4 in the UK. Some of us will be riding in memory of Colin Watson, a CRC club member who died from acute heart failure whilst cycling in August 2020. Colin was a lifelong cyclist who campaigned across many causes for a greener, more just and sustainable world.
