We provide expert care and support to young people with cancer

Story

Once again we are asking you, my family and friends to dig deep for the Teenage Cancer Trust. We started this event in 2006 for fun: the idea being that you drive as far as you can in an old banger, on challenging roads...but everything changed when Adam Horn got involved. Adam was a charismatic young man, with a penchant for Corona Beer who was suffering from cancer. Despite having his leg amuptated he drove with us from Brighton to Istanbul. He was signed up to join us to Corfu too: but sadly he didn't make it.

13 years later, we are still oganising the event..and Adam's Dad Colin Horn has joined us every year. Last year we hit the £1million mark... and we're not finished. The TCT helps young adults like Adam get better in surroundings that are designed especially for them. We've visited the wards and the work and bespoke treatment these guys give to teens suffering from cancer makes a life changing difference. This year's event is particularly special because we're going to the home of Adam's favourite beer...and we're excited to welcome back dumball vets and an intake of fresh dumball rookies as we venuture into unknown territory yet again! This one is going to be spicy.

So please folks - give what you can!

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24.
