Gorvins are raising money for two fantastic charities in 2022 - Motor Neurone Disease Association and the Cardiothoracic CC Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital.

We are trying to raise an equal amount of money for each charity.

Both charities do amazing work for people when they need it most - please help us support them - and thank you!

We have lots of ongoing challenges including:

- Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge on 18 September. The Challenge involves continuous hiking in the Yorkshire Dales at a total distance of 39.2km (24.5 miles) and going up and over the summits of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough (1585m (5200ft) of uphill walking), usually in this order, and in under 12 hours. Our team are Rowan, Chloe, Paul, David and Richard - wish us luck!

- Monthly fundraisers by each Department at Gorvins

- Our challenge to to walk or run 10,000km by the end of the year! We have twenty-five members of the group on Strava and each week we have a leader who tops the table for the week. Anyone can contribute no matter how big or small their walks / runs are. It’s proving to be really good fun!
