King's College Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) cares for the very sickest babies from South London and beyond. The multi-disciplinary team comprises doctors, nurses, therapists, surgeons and more who work together to secure the best outc

Story

Harrison was born 12 weeks prematurely on 4 December 2011 at King's College Hospital. He was transported straight to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) where he would spend 54 days on life saving support before transferring to the special care nursery. Thankfully after 70 days in hospital and a number of setbacks, Harrison was allowed to go home.

As a celebration of having recently reached double figures (turning 10!) and to help Harrison and his family show huge appreciation to the wonderful team at King’s College Hospital NICU, we would like to raise as much money as possible for the premature babies in their care and, equally importantly, for supporting the families going through this incredibly difficult time.

Harrison and his Mum, Jen, will be cycling a lap of Kenley Aerodrome for each of the 70 days he spent in hospital (a mere 127 miles!!), completing the distance on 11 June 2022. Team members will be supporting this effort by joining in whatever way they can - some will be completing the full distance on the day, others joining forces to complete the distance as a team, whilst some will complete 70 m/km/miles/laps of their own choice!

We are incredibly grateful for your support.
