Karen Sparrow was loved by her family and by professional organisations and people, all over the world. She was always smiling, always enthusiastic, kind and selfless, passionate about access to eye health care, and constantly striving to share knowledge and make the world a better place.

Karen asked that any donations in her memory should go to two charities which she supported through fundraising and volunteering but which also had a big impact not just on her, but on the lives of many others: Ovarian Cancer Action and Vision Aid Overseas.
