My name is Lily Tyson and I am 15 years old. In April 2020 I was diagnosed with Turner Syndrome and in April 2022 I was diagnosed with a rare eye condition called Uveitis.

Fundraising has become a huge part of my life to help me spread awareness of my conditions in the hope I can help support other children and families who are diagnosed with my conditions.

In April 2021 i ran 103k throughout April and in June 2022 i walked up Snowdon. This is my third fundraiser and will be a little different to previous years. I am fundraising for Turner Syndrome Support Society and Manchester Royal Eye Hospital Charity.

i have ongoing treatment for my Turner syndrome at Manchester Childrens Hospital but since my eye condition diagnosis, I have been under the amazing care of the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. I want to give something back to them and to raise as much as I can to say thank you to these amazing charities and for all they are doing for me with my hospital care.

My health hasnt been as good these past few months and my energy levels are not what they have been. In March I will be having surgery on my eye. My amazing friends, family and my Dads work colleagues will be raising money via a host of challenges that I set over the coming months. This will include coffee mornings, bake sales, sponsored silences, sports challenges like running and sponsored walks to name a few. I will be posting updates throughout and getting involved in as much as I can. If anyone wants to get involved please let me know.
