Maureen was the very epitome of all Guiding stood for – she made a promise as a young Brownie and has kept it every day since. She promised to think of others before herself and to do something caring every day. She was always keen to do her duty to her God, her Queen and to other people. Those who knew Maureen would testify that these laws summarise all that she stood for.

We are the poorer for losing her physical presence from our lives, but the richer for knowing and living life with her.
