Raising money for Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Charity and Macmillan Cancer Support

Story

A short update : the team completed the Skydiving event successfully on the 13th of August without any major casualties. Everyone who attended both on the ground and in the air had an AMAZING time and I would like to thank all of the people who made this an unforgettable experience.

To enable the charities access all of the donations including the gift aid we will be closing this Just Giving page on the 9th of September 2022... please donate before this date if you want to add anymore donations via this platform .

This charity event has been organised as part of a bucket list for Pedro Alonso who works at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham. Pedro who has worked in the Clinical Chemistry department labs for over 30 years was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in 2019 and is currently receiving ongoing treatment for this terminal condition.

The team consists of the soon to be skydiving experts below:

Gareth + Gavin Mellors, Luke Bolstridge , Donna Hinchcliffe, David Seser, Pedro Alonso, Katherine Pritchard, Daniel Brandwood, Jacob Farnsworth, Chloe Wilkes, Dr Owain Blackwood & Susan Taylor

We are using this event as an opportunity to raise money for two very worthwhile charities that help our patients in their most desperate time of need. These charities are the Air Ambulance which is often seen bringing patients to hospital in urgent need of treatment and Macmillan who support those affected by cancer in so many ways.

Please help support our craziness by donating to the Plummeting Pathologists skydiving event through this Just Giving webpage. A huge thank you to everyone supporting this event by either direct participation or donation...it's fantastic to see so many people being involved in this endeavour.
