Raising money for Sue Ryder

The next few months may demand more of us all. But, with your help, well never stop caring. No matter what. Well continue to work tirelessly with families, friends and individuals to ensure that no one is ever left to cope alone.

Story

Lockdown, PPE and visitor restrictions didnt stop Sue Ryder. They kept on caring because people like me cared too. But there is one thing that could stop them now. With less income from their shops and many fundraising events cancelled this year, they already have £2m less coming in each month than they need to keep running at full capacity. We are now in a second national lockdown; every week Sue Ryder's shops are closed the charity loses an additional £500,000. Coronavirus cases are on the rise again and conditions like cancer are going untreated. Sue Ryder Nurses and healthcare staff are needed more than ever at a time when they simply dont have enough funding. Were facing an end-of-life care crisis the likes of which weve never seen before.

So this coming new year - why not recycle your old Christmas Trees and in return donate some much needed funds to the Hospice! Nene Valley Tree Services will chip them and turn into mulch in return for your kind donations!

Bring your old trees along to the car park of the Red Lion, Warmington, up until 12th Jan 2021, and give a minimum donation on this site of £10. Please give as generously as you can, as the charity themselves are sadly not able to help us with this event this year due to Coronavirus, and they need as much help raising funds as possible!

With your help, Nene Valley Tree Services and the Red Lion Warmington , would like to raise hundreds of pounds to donate towards the essential end of life care they provide to our local residents. Please give generously and spread the word!
