Story

Enable Ability founded over 65 years ago to work with people from the local area with disabilities. Portsmouth Youth Project is for young people aged 18 - 25 with a mild to moderate learning or physical disability can take part in fun activities, work experience, socialise and gain amazing memories as well as getting ready to step into the real world after college, school etc.

Last year we were going to take our members to watch Pompey play in the EFL Trophy final at Wembley. The event was cancelled at the last minute due to Coronavirus and this was a major disappointment for our members who had been looking forward to this day out for a long time.

So, we are now attempting a Virtual Walk to Wembley as a fundraiser to allow us to give our members a fantastic day out and help sooth the disappointment of missing out on an event they had really been looking forward to. We will be walking 183 miles (the equivalent of Enable Ability office to Wembley and back) to raise as much as possible so our members can have loads to look forward to after Lockdown, a lovely day out, more games, more work experience opportunities.

Everyone will be taking part, videos and photos will be used to stay in touch while we are walking.
