Story

In the mind there are no limits - John C. Lilly

Hi Everyone,

For those who don't know both of us, here is a summary of who we are!

I am Renata Gianquitto, a life coach with a great belief in releasing people's inner strength. Johnson Hallim is a certified personal trainer with the ambition and ability to create athletes out of ordinary people!

Together we have powered through lockdown challenges by keeping up our training via video calls and now we are pushing our own limits and going for a marathon: https://www.endurancelife.com/north-york-moors on the 3rd of October 2020!

A brief note from me:

Self limiting beliefs are what I help people break down through coaching them and running a marathon is my way of breaking my own self limiting belief! I am not an athlete and I have never been into running but I am going to do it because the only limits we have are the ones we create ourselves.

I have chosen to support Pendleside Hospice because they were absolutely fabulous with me when my mum sadly passed away 6 years ago. They offered me free bereavement counselling within a couple of weeks of my contacting them and they helped me seeing the bright side of life again.

A brief note from Johnson:

So earlier this year a client of mine named Sam got into running with a friend of hers called Fran. She then somehow challenged me to running a 10k race: with me being a personal trainer I take being challenged to anything very seriously! We ran the race and it was an amazing feeling. Soon after talk of a marathon started to get thrown around, we decided to sign up and run the Manchester half marathon in memory of Sam's recently passed father. He was called Stephen Moss and he was aged 64. Unfortunately, due to COVID19, the run was cancelled.

Recently, another client of mine (Renata) really took well to running distance. We decided to go for one of the pinnacles of running: a full marathon. She wanted to run to raise money for Pendleside hospice and I saw it as the perfect opportunity to run in memory of Sam's father. Months back I said I would run in his memory and I am a man of my word!

So if anybody can spare even just a pound or two, please donate to a great cause.

Thank you!

Johnson and Renata
