Update - Walk Completed!!

In September 2021 we lost a much loved member of our club, Kat Hampton, to Breast Cancer - she was only 32. We therefore did a Sponsored Walk on Saturday 16th July 2022 in her memory to raise some much needed funds for Force Cancer Charity and Breast Cancer Now.

We created a route starting in Bickleigh at 7am, moving towards and around Tiverton (8:45am at Moorhayes - this was the start of the 3/6 mile route), finishing off with a walk along the canal to Cullompton and back! The below team members walked the following distances:

26.2 miles (actually 27.2 due to taking a wrong turn!): Shell Tyrrell, Luanne Wilson, Harriet Jones and Laura Jenkins.

20 miles: Maria Moore.

6 miles: Jo Roberts, Lauren Mildren (and Izzy), Dawn Toy (and Mia) and Abbie Iggulden (and Octavia).

3 miles: Kim Burrow (and 3 week old Ruthie!)

We are ever so grateful for all of the donations received, it means a lot to us and we know it would have meant a lot to Kat.
