Two village teams are taking on Race the Sun on 8 July 2023:

LivinTheDream:

Trudi, Shane, John & Angela

Up with the sun to ride 22 miles, off road, following the shore of Coniston lake. We'll have spectacular views and ... err ... some punchy technical climbs - eek!

Then! we jump into a two-man canoe and paddle a 2 mile course on Coniston water - uh oh!

Finally, we take on a thigh-busting trek to the summit of Old Man of Coniston. It's a 7 mile round trip, with a seriously steep climb to 803m - gosh!

All this needs to be completed before the sun comes back down!

Of course the real challenge is doing it with our other halves!

We're putting ourselves through this ... excitement ... in order to raise funds for Action Medical Research.
