GAFIRS is an independent lifeboat and inshore rescue service. As a declared facility to the Coastguard, we provide emergency cover to The Solent and Portsmouth Harbour. Our volunteers drop everything at a moment’s notice to respond to people in distress; 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Story

A local community focused running club who run for all kinds of reasons, but it‘s always fun. Gosport Golden Mile is our local race and we all use the beach and the water. The volunteers at GAFIRS keep us safe.
