John O’Groats to Land’s End, Self-Supported Run. 830 miles/ 1335 km*
Currently there are no male records in the GPS era so Guinness World Records up for grabs inc. first Self-Supported Male & Fastest Male.
I will be sleeping out and finding food and water where I can, carrying my own kit without any planned external assistance. Any support I employ must be equally available to anyone else, no support or assistance from friends is allowed. My target is to cover 60miles/ 96 km a day for 14 days to reach Land's End by 6pm on Sunday 8th October, if all goes to plan!
The 2 charities I am supporting are:
Refuge - in support for women and their children affected by domestic abuse, &
Breast Cancer Now - in memory of my mother Sue who died from Breast Cancer aged 42
Thank you very much for any support you give to my two charities! I’m privileged to do this!
During the race I can be reached on WhatsApp on 07970 614064 or ade@J2L.uk should you wish to give any personal support (this is permitted, with the 'self-supported' rules) I would love to hear from you!
Tracking: My progress through the UK to Inverness, Edinburgh, Kendal, Warrington, Bristol, Newquay & finally to Land's End can be followed on:
