Our organisation was formed in November 2020. Since then, we have created a successful Football Pathway, Supported Food Poverty with our Community Cafe and engaged with the most socially isolated. We aim to provide support in our 5 key areas - Community, Inclusion, Sport, Health and Education.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We have a team of people taking on the Aberdeen Kilt Walk 2025 as part of Team Arbroath FCCT. All money raised will go towards supporting our projects within Arbroath FCCT. Currently we engage around 850 people every week through our array of programmes from an array of community focused initiatives from football classes to supporting schools. Our Community Cafe to our adults Health and Wellbeing Groups.

The money raised will aid making our classes more accessible. This means that projects within Arbroath FC Community Trust will benefit by allowing us to house our Football Memories Group and expand our Festive Friends offering, inviting the most socially isolated individuals from in and around Arbroath for a Christmas Meal. Currently we are restricted at 30 guests with a waiting list of over 100 who would benefit from this. By having accessible access to the rooms in the stadium it will extremely benefit the provision we can support and allow us to create more community groups for those with accessibility needs.

The money will also go into the work we do creating affordable classes for children and adults to be active in a safe environment. We work with 2-70+ meaning every age group will be benefited.

We provide many free classes such as Little Lichties, KDM Lisa Evans Soccer Centre, Kick About, as well as reduce funds to make our classes accessible for all. This can include providing free memberships and free spaces on our Holiday Camps for families who may be struggling. We believe football should be for all and we ensure everyone has a place to play here at AFCCT.

Lichtie Ladies is another example of our array of programmes. Lichtie Ladies is a mental wellbeing group allowing Women to get peer support weekly from one another. This class, like many others is free and fundraising is essential to keeping these classes affordable and accessible for all.

All money raised will go directly into supporting the projects run by Arbroath FCCT! Thank you.
