Story
On Friday, 3rd October 2025, the Action for Children Operations team are taking on the challenge of "Boycott your Bed London," sleeping out to help the children across the UK who go to bed every night feeling unsafe, cold, and hopeless.
We are raising vital funds for Action for Children. Currently, 4.5 million children live in poverty in the UK, which is a staggering 31% of all children. Tonight, many will go to bed hungry and struggle to sleep in cold, damp houses. They will start the next day without a warm coat or shoes that fit. This situation is relentless.
But it doesn’t have to be like this. With every minute and every hour spent braving the elements, we can help Action for Children provide warm clothes, hot meals, and a proper bed for those in need.
Please support us in raising vital funds to help more children experience a safe and happy childhood. Just £50 could pay for new shoes for two children, while £65 could contribute towards ensuring that more children have a safe and joyful upbringing. Childhood is precious; we must act now so they don’t miss out on these formative years.
Together, we can take action for children and make a difference that lasts a lifetime.
