We will join hundreds of other trekkers as we make our way around London's most iconic sights and raise money so together we can find a cure.

We are a group of nurses who see this horrible disease affecting our patients and their families on a day to day basis. As well as raising vital funds to aid important research we are keen to raise awareness of this disease which has impacted us all during our nursing careers.

There are currently around 850,000 people with dementia in the UK. This is projected to rise to 1.6 million by 2040. 209,600 will develop dementia this year, that's one every three minutes. 1 in 6 people over the age of 80 have dementia.
