There are just 20,000 lions left in the wild - 90% lost in just 55 years. We are challenging supporters to walk 20,000 steps, one for each lion, and raise sponsorship to save lions from disappearing from their current range.

Story

There are just 20,000 lions left in the wild!! 90% lost in just 55 years. Extinction is a real and imminent threat. Will we be the generation that consigns the King of the Animals to history?

But there is hope. Born Free is on the frontline fighting for their survival. But we must do more. And I am doing my bit to support.

I will be walking 20,000 steps on Monday 4th July, one step for each of the lions left in their natural habitat. Will you sponsor me?
