Why Ahead Of the Game Foundation and Kierans Krew? Here's why

In November 2022, Kieran’s life changed completely when he was told he had a high-grade cancerous brain tumour at just 23 years old. After an emergency CT scan at Warrington Hospital, Kieran was sent to The Walton Centre, where he had four major brain surgeries, including one on Christmas Day.

In February 2023, Kieran started radiotherapy and chemotherapy, showing amazing strength throughout. In August 2023, Kieran started attending Ahead of the Game Foundation based in New Brighton on the Wirral, who provide rehabilitation treatments specifically for cancer patients. It’s founder by Dave Bolton has beaten cancer twice and continues to fight a terminal diagnosis.

Kieran’s use of Ahead Of The Game Foundations amazing facilities has included, Hyperbaric Oxygen Tank, Infrared Sauna, Red Light Therapy, and PEMF machine. These sessions are only possible because of donations, and Kieran and Dave believe they play a key role in their battle against cancer.

Kieran has shown incredible results, including tumour shrinkage.

Ahead of the Game has been a lifeline, not just for Kieran, but for so many others on their cancer journey. The hub is growing all the time, helping more people every day.

Kieran’s strength and determination have been truly inspiring, and we are proud to support him and Ahead of the Game in their amazing work.
