In January 2024, I (Alana) received the life-altering news of a bowel cancer diagnosis at just 31 years old. Thanks to an early diagnosis and timely surgery, I am grateful to share that I made a full recovery! This experience has ignited a passion within me to raise awareness about bowel cancer and support those affected by it.

I am excited to announce that I will be participating in the Edinburgh Half Marathon on May 25, 2025, alongside my dedicated partner who will be running the full marathon and my little boy who is running the 1K on May 24, 2025. Together, we aim to shine a light on this important cause and raise vital funds for Bowel Cancer UK.
