Story
This March, I’m taking on the Walk 31 Miles in March challenge to raise vital funds for lung cancer support and research.
We lost our mum to lung cancer 3 years ago in march, and this feels fitting as she always got us out walking in some of the most beautiful locations. She really struggled to get out walking in the end she was so exhausted, this would be a great way to honour her, and to help others going through it.
Those currently facing it, those we’ve lost, and the families who carry on in their memory. I’ll walk a mile every day, in my own time and in my own way, turning each step into support.
Lung cancer is the UK’s biggest cancer killer. The money raised through this challenge will help fund life-saving research, provide comfort and care to patients, and ensure no one has to face this disease alone.
