Story
The Yorkshire Three Peaks for Alison ❤️
This year, we are taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks to raise money for St Catherine’s Hospice, in memory of our much-loved wife and mum, Alison Norris.
Alison tragically passed away in March last year after her battle with breast cancer. During the final part of her illness, St Catherine’s Hospice and the incredible staff who cared for her were such a huge support to Alison, to us and to our whole family. The compassion, dignity and kindness they showed us is something we will never forget.
We’ve already taken part in a fundraising challenge this year, so we know we’re asking a lot to come back and ask for your support again. But this one means something particularly special because this will be Dad’s first ever fundraising challenge. After everything we went through with Mum, being able to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks together in her memory makes this one very close to our hearts.
We’re expecting a tough day, but knowing we’re doing it for Mum – and for a hospice that gave our family so much when we needed it most – will keep us going.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, we would be incredibly grateful. Every penny will help St Catherine’s continue providing the care and support that meant so much to our family.
For Mum, and for St Catherine’s. ❤️
