A group of friends have come together to give back to the incredible local charities that support our community in our most difficult and critical moments.

That’s why we’re organising a Dinner Dance on Friday, 4th October — a night of music, food, and generosity🤞🏼with a raffle and an auction of promises, all to raise vital funds for Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland and the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

Hospice at Home provides specialist end-of-life care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Their dedicated team of nurses, healthcare assistants, and bereavement support workers are available 24/7, ensuring people facing life-limiting illnesses can spend their final days in peace, dignity, and surrounded by loved ones. 🌻

They rely on donations to continue offering these vital services free of charge to families across our community. Their work touches countless lives — including friends, neighbours, and often our own loved ones. 💛

Great North Air Ambulance Service delivers pre-hospital emergency care across Cumbria, the North East, and North Yorkshire. Their critical care teams respond to emergencies where every second counts — from serious road traffic accidents to farming incidents, mountain rescues, and more. 🚁

The charity operates entirely on public donations. With each mission costing thousands of pounds, every contribution helps ensure their helicopters can stay in the sky, ready to save lives. ❤️
