We're thrilled to announce that in September, seven of us from the Asset Management and Development team will be taking part in PATRIZIA’s 2024 hiking challenge and raising money to support a cause close to all our hearts; PATRIZIA’s School in Bafia, Cameroon. We need your help to make a real difference to the lives of all the local children in need of access to education.
On 15th September, Mike Tyler, Max Pearson, Archie Stroyan, Aman Sharma, Dan Williams, Hans Haug, Rob Tinker and Alex Becker, along with 120 other participants, will be hiking the majestic mountains of Chamonix to the height of Mount Blanc. Our mission is to raise €200,000 for the PATRIZIA Foundation to support the PATRIZIA School Bafia in Cameroon.
By sponsoring this challenge, it will enable renovation for classrooms and sanitary facilities and construction of a new building that securely encloses the schoolyard. Our ambitious plans also include installing a well for fresh water and providing solar-powered electricity. All of this is for a school that currently lacks running water and electricity.
Bafia, in Cameroon, confronts economic challenges due to minimal activity and frequent droughts affecting agriculture. Socioeconomic disparities hinder access to quality education and infrastructure. Additionally, conflicts between English and French speakers, along with religious tensions, further complicate the situation.
With your support, we can help to change that. Every penny raised will go directly to the project in Cameroon, ensuring that 100% of your contribution reaches those who need it most. Not many charities can boast that.
We hope you will be able to support our 2024 fundraising and we would be very grateful if you would donate whatever you can.
No donation is too small—every penny counts! Together, let's create a better world.
