Raising money for Hospice Of St Francis (Berkhamsted)
In memory of Amanda Thornberry

The Hospice of St Francis Skydive 2025 · 26 April 2025 ·

The Hospice of St Francis is excited to bring back the opportunity for brave thrill seekers to take to the skies in April 2025, reaching heights of 10,000 feet!

Story

I am raising money in support of the hospice of st francis in memory of my sister, Amanda Thornberry who they cared for with such love by doing a skydive. The idea the first day Amanda arrived at the hospice was that Ella and I would be jumping in her memory but unfortunately people under 16 cannot jump so it will now be Bradley and myself.

The Hospice helps people to live their precious lives well. Our care has many forms – at home, in our outpatient Spring Centre or through specialised care in one of our Hospice beds - and is defined by each person's need. We rely on donations to raise the £6m we need each year to fund our free care. Your support is ever more important, as NHS funding covers less than 20% of our running costs.
