Story
CLAPA is the national UK charity supporting people affected by cleft lip and palate. They provide specialist feeding equipment, trusted information, one‑to‑one and online support, youth services, and community events, while raising awareness and championing better cleft care for all.
Three babies are born with a cleft lip and/or palate every day in the UK, and they face a 20-year treatment pathway which can continue well into adulthood.
They receive no NHS or government funding and rely only on donations to continue their vital work.
