Alzheimer's effects almost 1,000,000 people in the UK. One of them, was my Nan Warey who we sadly lost this year.

I have decided to complete the Leicestershire Half Marathon in February 2026 followed by the Manchester Marathon in April 2026, in memory of Warey, to raise money for Alzheimer's Society.

£5 can provide essential funding for AS such as phone calls to a dementia advisor.

£10 could provide a companion to a patient with dementia to check in and offer friendly chats and social interaction.

£25 can begin to support research initiatives for the treatment of Alzheimer's.

£50 can further fund the current research into dementia treatment and help pay for more medical equipment for those in need.

I will be pushing over 63km for this cause and we have 12 months to raise as much as we can. Please join me and give what you can.
