This is one of my chosen charities that I will be raising money for, whilst cycling the length of the country from John O’Groats to Lands End.

As a farmer, I’ve seen firsthand how tough this line of work can be. Long hours, isolation, financial pressures — they all take their toll. Sadly, mental health struggles are far too common in farming, and they often go unseen and unspoken. I want to throw myself into a challenge that seems (almost) impossible, and prove that any hill can be conquered if you put your mind to it.

The second charity that I am fundraising for. This one is close to home as when I was 12 my dad lost his battle with cancer.

I want to raise money to give other families a fighting chance against cancer, because losing someone you love is one of the hardest things life can throw at you.

There will be 2 of us tackling this challenge me on the bike and my partner Olivia who will be driving a tractor that we have turned into the famous tractor ted
