Story

Harrison and Andrew are running the Brighton Marathon 2026 on 12th April 2026 for Prostate Cancer UK.

This cause means a great deal to both of us. We are taking on this challenge because prostate cancer has affected people close to us, including a close family member and a close friend. Seeing the impact it can have, not only on the person diagnosed but also on those around them, has made this charity especially important to us.

For Andrew, this will be his 6th marathon. For Harrison, it will be his 2nd. We are very proud to be running it together, and even more proud to be doing it in support of a cause that matters so much to us personally.

Prostate cancer is now the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK, and around 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. Prostate Cancer UK does hugely important work to fund lifesaving research, improve diagnosis and treatment, raise awareness, and provide trusted support and information to men and their families. That is why we wanted to use this marathon as an opportunity not only to challenge ourselves, but also to help support the work they do every day.

Training for a marathon is a big commitment, and race day itself will be a real test, but we know we are running for something far bigger than the finish line. Every donation, large or small, will help Prostate Cancer UK continue its work to support families, drive forward research, and help save lives.

Thank you very much for reading our page and for any support you are able to give. Every contribution is genuinely appreciated.
