Raising money for AngelmanUK (previously ASSERT) and Steps Charity (formerly Steps Charity Worldwide)

Story

I’m running the Tissington trail half marathon (Ashbourne Derbyshire) on Saturday 23rd Sept.2023.

I’m doing this to raise money for 2 charities, Steps UK (Talipes / Clubfoot) and Angelman Syndrome.

I’m raising money for Steps UK charity for my wonderful grandson Oliver who was born with Talipes / Clubfoot and has battled every day of his life with no complaining.

Talipes / Clubfoot is a birth defect where one or both feet are rotated inward and downward.

And I’m raising money for Anglemans Syndrome for wonderful Oscar Naylor Billinge aged 10 from Ashbourne, Derbyshire.

Angelman syndrome is a rare genetic condition that affects the nervous system and causes severe physical and learning disabilities, seizures and he is non verbal but he has the most infectious smile in the world and laughing all the time.
