Anthony died suddenly on 12 October 2023. He lit up our lives and we want to shine some of that light on causes that were close to his heart. Anthony loved and adored his family and friends. He cared deeply about the rights of women and girls; he believed in dignity in old age and that no one should live or die alone; he supported the vital work of charities that fund medical research; and he loved being on the water and by the sea, and had boundless admiration for the work of volunteer lifeboat crews.

Anthony cared passionately about these causes, and we have chosen five charities to support in his memory, and in lieu of flowers.
