Raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support

At Macmillan, we will move mountains to help people with cancer live life as fully as they can. We’re doing whatever it takes. But without your help we can’t support everyone who needs us. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

Note: You can choose to donate to either Macmillan or Pancreatic Cancer Action by selecting one of the two donation links below. Thank You.

We at Ashfield Juniors Academy FC aim to collectively cover the 860 miles from Ashfield Stadium in Glasgow to Wembley Stadium, London and home again in honour of Mary Gilchrist, 69 , who died recenelty from pancreatic cancer.

The young boys and coaches will abide with lockdown restrictions and cycle or run whatever distance they can. We will collect this info and update you on distance and time taken. Proceeds will be given to Macmillan Cancer Support and Pancreatic Cancer Action.

Mary's family are connected throughout Ashfield Academy - from coaches, child wellbeing officer and club ambassador to grandsons and nephews playing at the youngest level - and not forgetting fans of the club.

Thank you for your help and contributions.
