Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you might know on 19th October 2024 my dad Daniel Dyra sadly lost his battle to cancer after a long strong fight over the last three years. Dad was always strong and never let anything get in the way especially his cancer.

At the end of dad's life he had a very short stay at the Arthur Rank hospice in Cambridge. It might have been a very short stay but the imprint Arthur rank left on my family was massive. The care and love they gave dad was beyond incredible and the support they gave to us a family was also amazing.

We will never be able to repay Arthur Rank hospice for what they did in such a hard time in all of our lives but I want to be able to give back in some sort of way. So for the year of 2025 myself and Jamie are going to take on a challenge a month to raise money to give back to Arthur Rank. and to create something in memory of dad. We will complete a total of 12 challenges some being month long challenges and others being one day events with the hopes that we can finish our year of challenges with a HYROX event (all based on successful entry).

We will post updates along the way on here and across social media so that everyone can see what we are up to each month.

We look forward to the year ahead and the challenges to come!
