Will and Richard Ayling to run the London Marathon 2026 in memory of their father, Miles Ayling

In April 2026, brothers Will and Richard Ayling will take on the London Marathon to raise money for Oakhaven Hospice Trust, in memory of their father, Miles Ayling, who passed away in October 2005 from a brain tumour.

Over the past few years, the Aylings have already raised over £15,000 for Oakhaven, and with this challenge, they’re aiming to reach their next milestone — £20,000.

Oakhaven played a vital role in the final days of Miles’s life, offering compassionate, specialist care that made a lasting impact not only on him, but also on Will, Richard, and their mother. The hospice team created a space filled with comfort and love — and this marathon is a way of giving back to those who gave so much.
