Team Robyn - Darren & Amber 🎀🌷💔

In December, we experienced the heartbreaking loss of our baby girl, Robyn at 38 weeks. During that incredibly painful time, Petals provided us with compassionate, specialist counselling and support that helped us begin to navigate our grief.

To honour Robyn’s memory and to give back to the charity that has supported us so deeply, we (Robyn’s mum and dad) will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon. We are taking on this challenge with the same shared purpose, running in memory of our daughter and for the charity that stood beside us when we needed it most.

Every donation will help Petals continue their vital work supporting other bereaved parents through the devastation of baby loss.

It is a sad reality that in the UK, 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage, 1 in 200 babies will be stillborn every year, over 5000 pregnancies will be terminated for medical reasons each year, and 24 babies die shortly after birth every single week.

Petals deliver hundreds of counselling sessions every month. Each session costs £80, I would like my sponsorship to fund as many sessions as possible, so many more parents can be supported.
