Barkat Foundation is a non profit charity with a direct link to refugee camps in Gaza. Families are facing severe food and water shortage due to the ongoing genocide they are facing.

Barkat Foundation is a charity based in the UK which is involved in fund raising through charity events and volunteered donations. We are linked to Derby Multicultural centre which is a UK registered charity who send 100% of the funds we raise to refugee camps in Gaza.

One of the main problems thei Refugee Camp faces is a lack of water due to not obtaining sufficient share of fuel to operate the water wells.

Trucks with large containers will go to collect water from a distillation plants. The water will then be transported to specific nearby refugee camps, where people have to get to collect the water. This is usually restricted to once a week and collected by children in large jugs and containers.

With the the war in the middle east and fuel restrictions, this has become more difficult.

Water is a basic fundamental human need and right. We are collecting funds to make this a more regular occurrence and to aid more areas so the people do not have to go far to collect the water.

£50 allows 1000 litres of water to be provided.
