Story
At one day old our baby boy was taken to King’s College Hospital for treatment following a bleed on the brain due to a condition in pregnancy called neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia.
He/we were in London for 15 days, 7 of which included our baby boy being sedated and ventilated.
After initially hotel hopping, we were lucky enough to get a room at Ronald McDonald House, Camberwell, meaning we were only a short walk away from the hospital, and no longer needed to live out of a suitcase.
5 months later and we’ve settled into life at home and we’re ready to pay it forward, and raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
