Story
Just over two years ago we had the diagnosis that we had all feared for some time. Our beautiful mum, only 61 years old, has Alzheimer’s. Life has changed so much for mum and dad, it truly is a terrible illness. We are very much helpless on the sidelines, supporting dad where we can, but have decided to try to do our bit to raise some money for research to try to help find a cure for the future.
Running a marathon is not something me or Lucy ever thought we would do but Katie has led the way with this. It will certainly be a huge challenge for us, but we are going to give it our all.
We are so grateful to be able to run the London marathon together, the three of us, for mum. Thank you for any sponsorship you can spare, it will really motivate us to do this.
