As a Palliative Care specialist nurse I see everyday how important MacMillan is for patients and their families. Also how they support nurses themselves and educate.

In June 2025, we have challenged ourselves to take on the Lake District Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.

I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my £500 pledge, which can pay for 2x Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
