Story
Thank you for visiting our page.
After a 3 year sarcoma cancer battle and aged just 31, Beku died peacefully surrounded by love. Beku fought the most courageous battle and we are beyond proud of the way he carried himself throughout. Despite his many treatments, Beku continued to make music with the support from friends and family. Listening to and making music had always been his safe space and during the toughest period in his life, he use his talents to write and record a number of songs and a EP documenting his experience with cancer.
In memory of our beloved Beku, we are fundraising for two amazing charities, Sarcoma UK and a Music For Youth.
Sarcoma UK is a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting us, we can help change this. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep the Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.
Music for Youth showcases the brilliance of young musicians from across the UK, bringing together over 30,000 young musicians each year. Showcasing the diversity of young people’s music making, they create a journey from the school hall to the Royal Albert Hall, supporting young musicians in their artistic journey. Your support will help provide mentoring, enable young musicians to experience the joy of live music festivals and commission new music and musical projects for young people of all abilities.
Thank you for your support.
