This year has been tough for us all; working for the NHS I have seen many close friends, family, colleagues and patients experience so many ups & downs. COVID 19 has demonstrated how vulnerable we all are, whilst I have had the privilege to play an active part in tackling the pandemic on the front line. So many of us have experienced loss in some way, loss of loved ones, financial stability, family security, routine. I have witnessed the most amazing team pull together & demonstrate fantastic resilience, I have also seen pure exhaustion & services stretched to the maximum.

I have been fortunate enough to secure a ballot place for the 2021 Virgin London Marathon. I am filled with excitement & trepidation. The rainbow has become not only a symbol of hope within the NHS, but also one of new beginnings. I am starting this journey from my couch & building up to running the full 26.2 miles. I can only do this with faith, your support, a whole lot of determination & a slight miracle!

I am raising money to support 2 amazing charities close to my heart; Mind Dorset and Dch Covid appeal. These charities are so important in helping face some of the issues raised. Please support me to help support them and choose which ever charity you would like.
