Story

Thank you for visiting our page.

We have chosen to run the 2025 London Landmarks Half Marathon for Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research and offers support for anyone affected by Sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments.

Myself and my Niece Betsy are taking part in memory of our very special Nephew and Cousin Harry. At the end of 2023 Harry was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a very rare type of soft tissue cancer. All his amazing care and treatment was received at The Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea whom we are forever grateful for.

Unfortunately, after 7 months of determination, bravery and strength, H sadly passed away on 16th June 2024, at just 25 years old. Leaving us all completely heartbroken.

Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting us, we can help change this. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep the specialist support line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.

Taking part in The London Landmarks Half Marathon is the least we could do to raise awareness, so that one day, another family doesn’t have to watch their beloved Son, Brother, Boyfriend, Grandson, Nephew, Cousin and friend go through what H did.

We all miss and love you H, this is for you.

Thank you for any support you can give to us both.

Love Betsy and Paul x
