Story
What do a southerner from Arkansas and a Yemeni scouser from the corporate sector have in common? Well, we both received a life-changing breast cancer diagnosis. Both strong, fit and health-conscious independent women, continuing to thrive after treatment, we have committed to our Big Ass Walk challenge to raise awareness and funds so the next generation can benefit from a brighter future. We believe that information is queen!
We will be walking 25 kilometres for Prevent Breast Cancer. As the only UK charity entirely dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer, they’re committed to freeing the world from the disease altogether. Unlike many cancer charities, they’re focused on preventing, rather than curing.
Promoting early diagnosis, screening and lifestyle changes, they believe we can stop the problem before it starts. Being situated at the only breast cancer prevention centre in the UK, they are right at the front-line in the fight against the disease.
