Having been in lockdown for the past few months with no sports to play, our bikes were dusted down and we started riding again. Exploring new routes across the county, we wanted to set ourselves a real challenge to ride to and from a seaside destination. So training got more serious, we researched the best place to stop over, planned our route and sorted our logistics. We were going to ride 100 miles to and 100 miles back from Northampton to Skegness. As part of the challenge we want to raise £200, £1 for every mile in aid of Kidney Research.This cause is very close to our hearts, as Ethan’s mum (Tanya) has Kidney Failure and is awaiting a kidney transplant. All the money raised will go towards vital research into transplants and the best ways to support patients’ mental health and wellbeing.
