Story
Billy was the life and soul of any party or gathering and was a well known and well liked man. He always had time to talk to people, if you knew him or not. Billy loved his family and enjoyed life, but especially enjoyed listening to his music and going to music/beer festivals and concerts, however in August 2025 aged just 74 he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. We didn't know much about the pancreas or what it did, but soon realised how serious this cancer was and learnt quickly how important the pancreas is. Billy being his usual self kept upbeat and made new friends through the support networks he met, and kept his humour throughout his diagnosis. He fought bravely to the end, but sadly lost his battle in May 2026. Research into this brutal disease is underfunded and 7 in 10 people with pancreatic cancer are told there is no treatment available for them. Jennifer, Billys daughter, Millie, Billy's grandaughter and Melanie, Billys niece would like to raise money to raise awareness for this deadly cancer to help increase survival rates or hopefully one day find a cure. . Any donations would be greatly appreciated xx
