Heart disease affects millions of families every year, and many of us know someone whose life has been touched by it.

In my life I have seen heart disease take two friends very quickly, one at 43 heart attack and one at 54 an aneurysm. I have a friend, who only two years ago went through a triple by pass, and now living a better quality of lifee.

For the last 14 years I have subscribed to the BHF magazine, due to my close Aunty having a triple heart bypass operation, my mom having strokes at 39 years of age. The magazine is a enlightening read, giving an insight of inspiring people living with heart and associated heart problems, also giving up-to-date medical research information and the brilliant professional, scientific work they do, it is amazing. That’s why I’m raising money for the British Heart Foundation, a charity dedicated to funding life-saving research into heart and circulatory diseases.

Heart and circulatory conditions can strike anyone, often when we least expect it. The incredible work carried out by the British Heart Foundation helps fund research, develop treatments, and support people living with heart conditions across the UK.
