Story
We sadly lost our lovely Uncle Bob a few years ago ….Parkinson’s significantly affected his final years and we would do anything to help find a cure. As a family we all tried to make light of his symptoms .. which for Uncle Bob included difficulties with swallowing. Uncle Bob was a man who enjoyed a pint and he avoided the use of thickeners for as long as he could, as he did not want to ruin one of life’s great pleasures. Joking apart seeing someone you love struggling with the effects of Parkinson’s is not easy and I would not wish it on anyone..
Fiona & Jack are team ‘Bobbing to Brighton’ and we are very grateful for any donation that you are able to make. The charity we are cycling for is Cure Parkinson’s.
Cure Parkinson's are here for the cure. Cure Parkinson’s is working with urgency to find new treatments to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s.Their funding and innovation has redefined the field of Parkinson’s research, enabling the world’s leading researchers to prioritise the next generation of drugs for clinical trial. Together we will conquer Parkinson’s.
